THE GIRL WITH NO HEART

"...not so much a puppet show as a puppet masterclass...      Sparkle and Dark's storytelling has class and power."

The  Independent

Delicate, provocative and haunting, The Girl With No Heart takes us on an epic journey into a paper world, where a child's heart has the power for immeasureable good or unimaginable destruction.

Inspired by the tragic events of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings during WWII, the show explores the fragility and frustration of children surrounded by a war they cannot control.

This stark yet beautiful fable is brought to life with puppetry and live music - subtly interlacing Japanese Cultural references throughout.
