PRESS AND MARKETING PRODUCER OPPORTUNITY
About Us:
Sparkle and Dark are an established theatre company who specialise in puppetry and new writing. I AM BEAST is our fourth nationally touring production and the company has continually received funding from a variety of sources for all projects since 2009.
We now seek a dynamic, self motivated individual for the role of Press and Marketing Producer on our upcoming 2017 tour of I AM BEAST, with specific emphasis on the promotion of the London dates.
This is a project-specific freelance position and funding has already been secured for it. However, there is the additional possibility of an expanded role in the project; providing extended promotion for the national tour as well as London dates. This would include significantly more paid hours and a larger marketing budget. This enhanced role is dependent on pending funding decisions (more information upon interview).
We are keen to develop a long term relationship with the right candidate with the potential to involve them in future Sparkle and Dark projects.
Place of work:
You will have your own place of work but will be asked to attend meetings at the company's London base. Unfortunately, we cannot supply travel expenses. Please include your general availability in your application. You will not be required to travel to theatres or to attend performances outside of London.
How to apply:
Please send a cover letter describing your previous experience and interest in the company to shelley@sparkleanddark.com . Experience with new writing and puppetry would be an asset, although not essential.
Interviews will be taking place on the 28th November in London Euston, so please include your availability for that day.
We look forwards to hearing from you!!
